The Big Blue Dog: Life Size Ceramic Sculpture

Gary Steinborn's large scale ceramic Big Dog sculptures are available here and through the Freehand Gallery in West Hollywood, the Gracie Store at the Santa Monica Museum of Art. The Big Dog is made from a high temperature stoneware clay and glaze which is suitable for most outdoor environments, however it is recommended that the piece be kept indoors during freezing weather. The Big Dog is 26" high and 28" long. Click on the picture of Gary in front of the kiln with the dog before it was glazed and you can see the scale of the piece.
